They actually are cool -but that’s not the first thing you need to know. It’s most important to understand how versatile they are. When you go knotless you enter a world of options.
Here’s a few things to consider when booking your knotless appointment, whether it be with us or at another salon:
SIZE:
What size knotless do you want? It may seem like a small thing to you but it’s a big thing to your stylist.
Changing the number of rows you get just by one can add an additional 45 minutes to your style. So choose your size before your appointment so you and your stylist can plan accordingly.
It’s not enough to tell your stylist you want medium parts, you just show a picture. This is because what you call medium and what they call medium can be two very different things.
PARTS:
What type of parts would you like?
You have box parting. Triangle parts. (pictured)
And shell parts.
There are no pros and cons for these three different types of parts. It’s literally just your preference.
LENGTH:
Where do you want your braids to end?
At the shoulders? Mid-back? Lower back?
The length you choose will also aid your stylist in estimating the amount of time everything will take.
COLOR:
What is the LEWK?!
You can choose one color or two or even three. BUT don’t show up to your service with three separate hair packs.
The more colors your stylist has to add to your braids the longer the service will take. Depending on the two tone style it can literally double your service time.
